Our college conducted state level seminar for two days (6th &7th october) dr.k.anandan prof.head of the dept.of.edu [CDE],bharathidasan university and Dr.saminathan assisatant prof Bharathidasan university were the resource person for the 1st day Dr.k.anandhan released the soviner and it is received by our college secretary Dr.m.vasimalairaja associate.prof in education director of distance education in alagappa university was the resource person for the second day. Valedictory address and participant certificate were given by him at the end of the seminar

We have conducted guest lecture for 1st year B.Ed Students.The topic was Tobacco-Impact of Health & The lecture was given by Asst.Prof Ms.K. Chandrakala Shanmugam, M.Sc (Nursing).,Karpaga Vinayaga College of Nursing,Pudukkottai.

The 8th Graduation day was celebrated.
Delivering the Graduation Day Address, Dr.H.GURUMALLESH PRABU, Controller of Examinations Alagappa University, Karaikudi Stressed the need to develop skills of different types to become teachers of excellence. The chief Guest distributed degrees to 204 candidates.
The day was celebrated in the presence of trustee madam, Dr.Kavitha Subramanian under the presidentship of Dr.Abiramasundari,principal. Friday 21st October 2016

Bhavendhar Literary Association has conducted Thirukkural and Proverb Recitation Competition, the duration of the time is 3 minutes. Winners are N.Chithiraiselvi ( I Prize) , S.Shanmugapriya ( II Prize) , S.Chitra (III Praize) – B.Ed I Year.

The Quiz Competition was conducted by World Tourism Organization and the programme was Organized by Srimathi Indira Gandhi College at Hotel Sangam, Trichy. Our students (D. Rithcya Shebina Mary,P. Pavithradevi, S.Durga Ranjitham, M.Sowndharya ) were participated and received Certificates.
