A five day Citizenship Training camp was inaugurated in J.J College of Education, Sivapuram, Pudukkottai from 19,01,2015 to 23.01.2015. The First day on 10.01.2015. the morning session was inaugurated by Thiru. M Sundharagoplan@Shankar. President, Thekkatur Panchyat .s In his special address Mr. Sundhragoplan quoted the importance of CT camp. Earlier, Mr.N.Subramanian, Secretary, J.J College of Education drlivered his presidential address.
He motivated the students by pointed out the awareness about the Citizenship camp and the essentiality if the field work. In her speech Dr.K.P.Alagammai, Principal J.J College of Education, stressed the important aspects of the field work.
On the Second day (20.01.2015) of the Citizenship Training camp, the students cleaned the basketball court and the play ground. In the afternoon session Prof.P.Rajarathinam. NCC Officer, H.H,Rajah's College of Pudukkottai delivered a special lecture on "CLEAN INDIA". In his speech he encouraged the students to adopt cleanliness as a part of their life. Earlier Assistant Professor R.Ramya welcomed the gathering and at the end of S.Saranya, B.Ed student proposed the vote of thanks.
On the third day (21.01.2015) of the Citizenship Training camp, the students cleaned Karpaga Vinayaga Temple and around the college. I In the afternoon session Prof.S.Palaniappan, Controller of Examinations, , J.J College of Arts and Science (Autonomous)
gave a valuable lecture on "Organic Farming –It's importance and awareness". He explained the need for organic farming and bio fertilizers. Earlier Assistant professor A.Pakiamary welcomed the special guest and Selvi M.Illayarani,B.Ed student proposed the vote of thanks.
On the fourth day (22.01.2015) of the Citizenship Training Camp,the students continued their field work.In the afternoon session, Dr.KP.Alagammai,Principal,J.J.College of Education,Pudukkottai delivered a special speech on 'Cultural Programmes- Sources for Projecting individual and group skills'.Later the students performed their cultural programmes.
The Final Day (23.01.2015)Celebration of the Citizenship Training Camp was started with Tree-Plantation programme which was lead by Dr.Kavitha Subramanian,Trustee,Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Trust,Pudukkottai.
In the afternoon session Dr.Kavitha Subramanian,Trustee,Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Trust,presided over the Valedictory function. In her presidential address Dr. Kavitha Subramanian, spoke on 'students and their Present Day needs'. She highlited the importance of projecting skills and the acquisition of computer knowledge and communication skills. She also noted that the students should spend their leisure time to develop themselves. Earlier, Dr.K.P. Alagammai, Principal, J.J. College of Education, Pudukkottai welcomed the gathering and P. Alagulatha, Assitant professor proposed the vote of thanks.
